Missions Partners
|
| Our Church has entered into "in depth" relationships with several missions outreaches. We are investing a significant ammount of time, finances, physical resources and prayer with these 'partners in ministry'. |
Greentree has established a sister church relationship with the Gatovo Church outside of Minsk, Belarus pastored by Vladimir Bukanov. This church is aggressively planting Bible studies in villages within the Minsk Region. In addition, the Gatovo Church hosts leadership training seminars and conferences for pastors and Christian leaders throughout Belarus.
Bible camps, distributes Biblical materials printed in Russian and conducts Bible conferences. Some of the practical assistance we have given includes computer equipment, vehicle repair, Sunday School supplies, a heating system and resources for a new addition to their church building.
Each year Pastor Kyle Huber travels to Minsk, the capital city of the former Soviet Republic of Belarus, to teach men and women who are in training for the ministry, at the Minsk Bible College under the leadership of Sergei Lukyanov. The expenses of this college are completely supplied by the visiting teachers. Due to decades of persecution, which drove churches ‘underground,’ pastors and bible students are eager for practical as well as theological instruction. Upon graduation many students go on to plant churches throughout the Former Soviet Republics.
ASELSI is located in the mountains of Chichicastenango, Guatemala in Central America and has two main ministries:
1. Training and Equipping local pastors in an area where there is no resources for basic and continued pastoral and theological education. Pastors and local leaders attend classes at the newly built facility (ILIO) or at one of the many training extension locations.
2. The Father's Heart Clinic provides desperately needed medical care and ongoing education for the local native Indian people. This includes a milk program for the many hundreds of malnourished children in the area as well. Through these programs native Guatemalans are presented with the Gospel and opportunities for discipleship.
Greentree is currently involved with ASELSI in sending STAMP Outreach teams and in providing Ministry Training courses and instructors for the Pastoral Training Ministry.
