Biblical Counseling

Greentree Church believes that Jesus Christ must be the center of all counseling and that His church is the key agency for providing counseling to His people.  Through Christ, we are able to look at situations and struggles around us as opportunities to see and to experience God's redemptive plan.  Through His grace, guided by His word and empowered by His Spirit, we, who are ourselves sinners and hurting, can reach out to others who are hurting and help them live the promises of the Gospel.


Counseling and mentoring are provided through several venues - congregational care outreach , mentoring relationships, individual counseling in specific areas, accountability groups,  pastoral care ministers, Biblical counseling staff and our pastors.
 
Kap In addition to our pastors and other trained leaders, our full time Biblical Counselor Kappy Huber is available to assist our members.  Scheduled appointments with her can be made through our church office.
Kappy also oversees "Breaking the Cycle", our accountability group for those struggling with addictions and "Door of Hope", our support group for those who suffer with chronic pain.  She also directs are premarital counseling.
   

Support and accountability groups are also available for:

  • those facing post abortion concerns
  • those struggling with the loss of a loved one 
  • care givers 
  • seniors
  • single parents
  • and many other areas
